Remember to remove keyboard autorepeat with xset -r, otherwise the player starts and stops when you move.

Use Netscape 3.0 or Communicator instead of Netscape 2.xx to play
You can also use the appletviewer from the JDK 1.0.2 or 1.1.x. Just type appletviewer http://www.worldnet.fr/~granveau/PANG/Pang_game.shtml).

Windows 95:

set the keyboard repeat rate to the minimum in the Control Panel.
Microsoft Internet Explorer and Communicator: don't forget to click in the applet to make it become active.
Netscape: the game runs fine with Communicator, runs slowly with Netscape 3.01 and doesn't work with Netscape 3.0!
In recent version of Internet Explorer (as of 3.02), the security policy seems to be more restrictive. If the applet doesn't work, try to add

set CLASSPATH=C:\Pang;%CLASSPATH%

at the end of your AUTOEXEC.BAT, where C:\Pang is the directory you installed Pang. You have to reboot your computer before you can try.
